Fitness Friday-10/12

Well I just realized I totally missed out on writing a post last Friday. I have been so busy with work, the family, and events. I did run the Race for the Cure 5k last Saturday and I was very proud of myself for crossing that finish line in a reasonable amount of time. I am on my 12th day of Paleo today was my second weigh in and I was exactly the same as last week's weigh in (4lbs down) however I did lose in inches so I am happy with that. I also feel wonderful my stomach has gone down quite a bit. No more feeling bloated or over stuffed after a meal.

I have not been able to get back in the gym so that also may be why I didn't see a difference on the scale. My next challenge is the 10k Turkey Trot coming up on Thanksgiving Day so I have to get ready for that.

My 30 day Paleo challenge is over at the end of the month and I plan to keep at it as much as possible but I know I will get tempted during the holidays to eat non Paleo. I am going to make a few Paleo dishes as well to give me some more options as to what I can eat on Thanksgiving. What are you planning on doing to not overdo it during the holidays? Do you make special dishes? Or do you eat whatever you want during the holidays?
