Leaves are turning colors, the temperature is dropping and the air is getting dryer. As much as I love the cooler months that are ahead of us I do not love the dry skin that comes along with it. Especially for my little one. That is why I make sure to keep her moisturized with Johnson’s Intense Moisture Cream. As I care for her dry skin it reminds me of when I was little my mother would only use the best as well that is why I choose to use Johnson’s for my children. Not only is it gentle enough for my baby but it can lock in moisture to help relieve dryness for myself also.
Me and my happy moisturized baby :)
You might think why can’t I just use regular Johnson’s Baby Lotion during the colder weather? Johnson’s Baby Intense Moisture Cream is specifically designed for extra dry skin and regular lotion doesn’t moisturize enough or last as long as necessary. For these instances Johnson’s Baby Intense Moisture Cream provides deep hydration to help relieve dryness and give baby comfortably soft skin all day long. It is clinically proven to seal in moisture for 24 hours and contains 2% dimethicone, an ingredientused to help form a protective barrier on the skin, locking in moisture.
Polymers such as dimethicone are commonly used by personal care companies and are found in products ranging from haircare to skincare and even food. They only use ingredients that are of U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention’s standards.
If your children have eczema you can still use it however it is not specifically designed for symptoms associated with eczema but can improve and provide relief for clinically determined dry skin. Johnson’s does not currently have plans to create a specific eczema line but their sister brand, AVEENO Baby does have products designed for eczema. To learn more, visit the AVEENO site.
