Did you know that parents are the NUMBER ONE influence on teens regarding their driving skills?
The Allstate Foundation's signature program - teen safe driving - is celebrating it's 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, the foundation has reached more than 56 million people with resources and information that have contributed to driving down teen car crash fatalities by nearly 48 percent. The work continues, especially during the summer months, which are the deadliest for teen drivers in the United States.
If you are a parent of a teen driver or soon to be teen driver like myself you will definitely need these resources Allstate Foundation offers to get educated to help save lives of teen drivers. The Driving Change #GetThereSafe website is full of bilingual content aimed at creating an ongoing conversation that begins even before teens get behind the wheel for the first time.
My son and I have been practicing driving safety tips such as putting the cell phone away, checking rear view mirror and most importantly wearing our seatbelt! Check out our video below....
Make sure you the Allstate Foundation #GetThereSafe Sweepstakes through July 3. All eligible entries will be placed into daily drawings to win $1,000!
